This mare is one of our greatest producers.  She has proven to throw some top quality ranch/work horses.  We will continue to breed this mare for as long as we can. 
 
Update as of 1/11/11.  Jewel has been such a great mare for us but is just needing more TLC than we can give.  She is dong ok with the band out on pasture but would do so much better if she could be kept in close year around and didn't have to travel so far to get to water.  She was left open last year due to an injury to her shoulder and I didn't want her carrying the weight.  But she seems to be getting around good now and I don't see why she couldn't raise more babies for someone.
